Captain Doug was born right here in South Florida and has grown up fishing
the waters that are surrounding it. Waters like
Lake Osborne, Lake Clark and Lake Ida.
He has over 100 local and regional tournament wins and over 30 years of fishing
experience.
He is considered an expert in South Florida Bassin. He also has out-of-the-way places only a native would
know. If you want to catch that trophy of a lifetime, go fishing with someone with the most intimate knowledge
0f the lakes and canal systems of South Florida. Fully licensed and insured.
If your time is limited, we offer local half-day trips in the West Palm Beach area. You can fish in the morning and we can
drop you and your entire party off at the Palm Beach International Airport. Pick-up service to and from hotels or resorts in
the area are complimentary, even on the water at the Hilton Hotel or John Prince Park Campgrounds. With over 300 miles of
canals connected to various lakes you can fish waters not disturbed In 10 to 15 years. They offer an unbelievable fishing
opportunity… where 20 plus fish a day are commonplace… right here within our own backyard!
WANT SOME ADVENTURE IN BASS FISHING?
Then Lake Okeechobee is the place to start. Captain Doug is familiar with most of its 720 miles of shoreline. This lake is so
massive it takes 30 minutes to go from the South end to the North at 60 mph.
Truly an Experience of a Lifetime!
WE DO HAVE SMALLMOUTHS IN FLORIDA!
They’re called Peacock Bass. And were introduced to South Florida in the mid 80’s. Since then they have become one of the
most sought after fresh water game fish in the area and the only place in the continental United Sta1es where a person can
catch them. Just Imagine a smallmouth on steroids! Live bait is best for these acrobats. But their explosive
reactions to topwater baits are unforgettable. Peacocks co-exist with fresh water snook and tarpon. Many of our clients have
caught the grand slam, peacock, snook, tarpon and largemouth bass ... all in one day!
You can catch them from West Palm Beach to Miami. Miami is the finest because of the climate. Peacocks cannot survive in cold
temperatures. Cold to them is 60°. Prime time fishing for these fighters is between April through September.
SNOOK and TARPON
Spend a day in beautiful Jensen Beach fishing miles and miles of shallow water grass flats with awesome artificial fishing
along with traditional live bait, either from a boat or wading. Along with the snook and tarpon roam schools of redfish,
seatrout, and jackcravelle. Throughout the day you may observe Florida manatees swimming in the shallows, junior porpoise
feeding near the shore. This is an exciting full-day trip. And a great way to experience the beautiful Intracoastal
Waterways.
